Two Decades in The Furniture Trade

Who we are.

We are a family-run furniture Agency based in the UK. Litmus furniture was founded in 2004 by Peter Hewitt, Peter saw an opportunity to grow a brand with minimal presence in the UK at that time. A partnership was made with Wiemann.

With Peter’s wealth of knowledge working with Dorlux for 10 years and his position as Chairman for the Sleep Council, Peter was able to establish an experienced and well-respected UK and Irish sales team who offered comprehensive product training, marketing support with a Home Delivery and installation service.

Simon Hewitt is the Managing Director of Litmus furniture, joined Peter in 2014. Simon’s experience at Proctor & Gamble, Diageo and Red Bull offer sales and marketing experience in abundance.

The secret to their success is developing good relationships with their suppliers and their customers, which carries through to their own sales team. Listen, learn, and adapt.

Litmus Sales Team

Simon heads up a fantastic sales team over the two brands, comprising of 10 experienced Sales executives across the UK and Ireland. Our head office is based in Yorkshire, and we have sales operations and admin based in Somerset. We have a close relationship with our 5 delivery hubs who are based in the UK who deliver the two brands across the UK and Ireland.

We are proud to supply and work with some very well-known retailers, whether they are national or independent, big, or small we assist with maximising every sales opportunity using our extensive knowledge within our team and the furniture industry.
